Gotcha!

You have been phished.

Your organisation conducted a phishing simulation which resulted in you executing a phishing link. Phishing is one of the easiest ways that attackers breach a company's network and access client information.

Treat every email with a degree of caution:

  • Never click on links or attachments from senders that you do not recognise
  • Be especially wary of .zip, .exe or other compressed file types
  • Look out for emails containing links to shortening services such as goo.gl, tinyurl.com and bit.ly
  • Do not provide sensitive personal information (like usernames and passwords) over email
  • Watch for email senders that use suspicious or misleading domain names
  • Inspect URLs carefully to make sure they are legitimate
  • Do not try to open any shared document that you are not expecting to receive
  • Be especially cautious when opening attachments or clicking links, especially if you receive a warning message indicating it's from an external source.

If you are ever unsure about an email, please contact your security team or I.T. service desk. This will help to keep your network and clients safe from cyber threats.
